ApollonThe building in which Hotel Apollon is located was built in 1925-1926. It served first as the prestigious seat of Doctor Rindl MD. The building then served as a rest home and from 1958 to 1960 it was rebuilt as a children's hospital. Later it was renovated into the hotel that we find today. The Hotel Apollon is situated in Valtice, not far from the town centre. Valtice is a part of the Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape, which is listed as a UNESCO monument. Two world-renowned natural preserves under the auspices of UNESCO are on the land of this Garden of Europe – the Biospherical preserve of Pálava and the Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape mentioned above, a landscape which was formed by the Lichtenstein aristocratic family.
